Hello , after getting my "Intensive Furnace n.8"running.No.8 Intensive is scary hot I was impressed with the heat it produced and i decides to test. I was curious about the question that @Scrambler asked and it will be the 1that i will test or verify. The stove does note have any structure to put a pot on top. Can anyone tell me at what height of the flames to put the trivet on top to have the best use of heat ?
Stoves like that weren't designed to have a trivet or to be a cook stove. They are portable heat units used to heat any large vessel, like a wash tub or pasteurizing tank or anything else that needed a heat source. The American equivalent is the Handy Gas Plant, although some of those do have a grate.
@Firedevil Level ‘2’ in your annotated photo is about right. It corresponds to where Primus’s No.1137 pot stand places a pot base above their No.85 furnace for which the stand was intended. In one of their blowtorch catalogues, Sievert (Svea) presented this guide to the temperature graduation of a blowtorch flame, which your stove burner flames will correspond to.
@presscall Thank you very much for the information, i know that the heat produced was a lot but i thought it was so much. From the graph you posted, only One burner produces so much , multiplying by 8 ir really produces a lot of heat. And now you've convinced me to really go ahead and build the "structure" to test it
@kerophile Thanks for the structure solution . All that's left for me os to go to the workshop and speed a free hours building a similar One "perphaps" a little bigger
