New stove cute little thing flame got a mind of its own one minute very low then nice and full is this typical for this stove ?
No, its not, they are usually nice and controllable (I use one with a fondue set!). The wick may be a little scorched/choked? Worth a look anyway. Alec.
Where is the wick please. fuel is very slow coming through when I first prime it takes like 30 seconds before it starts to drip in the little black reservoir.
Have a look at other similar stoves in the Stove Reference Gallery, amongst the threads there will be some photos and descriptions of dismantling and wick replacement.
I've got a Turm 39 it's very similar, I think the body is a bit wider but same burner, interesting continual little heating flames under the vaporising tube. My burner turns up well
Mine is working fine now I think it had been standing for a while so happy days . couldn't get to the wick the screw that holds it In place could not be undone so I have left it .
