Alexander Clark Company Ltd London Stove

    Does anyone what kind of fuel I should used in this stove? Please see attached pictures for details. It has a mark at the bottom of the stove " Alexander Clark Company Ltd London"

    I haven't seen this stove before, but it looks like an alcohol burner to me.

    Yes, alcohol, intentionally stylish as a restaurant ‘at table’ stove for certain dishes requiring that sort of flourish.

    Alcohol would burn without tainting the food.
