I'm currently in Kobe, and a (Japanese) friend of mine sent me this Manaslu 96 which he was able to buy for me.

He said "It seems to have maniac popularity and has been sold out as soon as it comes to my retailer"!

    It is new and unfired:

It's the Manaslu equivalent of a Primus 210 in this shot, but the 96 was displayed on another shelf. This was at the Tokyu Hands store in Yokohama I recall but the Tokyo outlet had them too

They weren't flying off the shelves when we were there last September, but maybe there's a dilution in supply to smaller retailers away from city centres.

A perfect looking stove! (a case of stove envy talking here) I would like to see this one set beside a Primus 96 or a 210 for size comparison. Flames and tea should be involved too. =P~

    Chef

I'll post some size-comparison shots when I get back to Oz.

    Cheers

Lovely little stove. I have one myself, got hold of one here in Norway, but I haven't used it in the field yet. Thats the problem of having many stoves. Some of them will be neglected...

Very nice! Is it a 96 size stove with a 00 or 210 size roarer burner? It’s on a One Day list for me.

    Congrats ,,, nice little stoves…

I’ve had mine on several BWCA trips, and it’s along on occasion for boil ups on day drives around Northeastern Minnesota…
