In the reference gallery, and in the instructions included with the Borde, you can see different variations of wind shields and an interesting configuration with a cooking set. I decided to recreate the simplest wind shield. In the original, it is made of galvanized sheet metal. It is foldable and connected by a hinge. I made mine from a piece of stainless steel sheet 0.6mm thick. I measured 2 strips of 7.5 cm wide and 17 cm long. I cut with a hacksaw in the lower and upper edges, the appropriate number of "teeth" and worked with a file. Then, using a rivet gun, I attached the hinge and the cover is ready. Another thing I did was a plate to warm up the burner. I know how the manufacturer Borde recommends to light this stove, nevertheless I decided to go for a more, for me, comfortable option. I have several small tins in which I store various small parts ( nozzles, springs) for my stoves. Completely by accident, I discovered that the lid of such a can fits the diameter of the Borde tank, and I thought that it could be put on the back of the tank ( where the filler cap is located). However, its edges are too high to be placed flat under the Borde burner tubes.Using a needle file, I carved two indentations that allow the plate to be placed under the tubes. Once the tank has cooled down, the plate can be put on the tank, pressing it with a rod used, among other things, to unscrew the filler cap.
Very nice! I have a borde stove that came without the pot stand and adjusting rod. Now I need to make those. My borde was the best stove bargain I ever bought. It was only $10.

Also I made a prototype in aluminum, where the crossbar was to be an additional heat shield. Maybe I'll make it, or use a crossbar like you did.( Of course if you don't mind). Thanks @mr optimus . By complete coincidence these diameters matched.
