This is probably one of the easiest stoves to build and use. Very small and very efficient. Designed and made in Switzerland by Jozef Borde. Due to its small size it is very practical for mountain trips. Anyway, this was the idea of Mr. Borde, who was a mountain climbing enthusiast. I wrote "easy to use" , but it should be borne in mind that as the operation time goes on, the flame of importance gains strength, so it should be carefully observed by the operator and reduced if necessary. Only the stove is original. The rest of the components (box, instructions, adjustment rod and wind shield) have been reconstructed. From this report https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/italian-vacation-and-a-bomb-on-board-the-plane.52779/ you can learn how I came into possession of this great stove. A few photos of the working Borde in various configurations.
Wow, great job reconstructing the box and pot holder. I really like all of you photos of the stove in use with the various set ups. I've got one of those stoves somewhere but not the stand or the box. You're an inspiration. Ben
@luke1990 well, many copies have been produced, especially in Japan, in reality not super complicated. They also made a miniaturized working version: Nicola
It may be added that after Mr. Borde's death, the production of these stoves was continued by for some time Mr.Norbert Bader in Kilchberg near Zurich. As you can see @Nicola Francesco Elia , this stove gives me a lot of joy. Thank you.
@Knee Stanislaw I have seen with great pleasure that you are enjoying it! I have to find a new toy for you Nicola
Hi there, Congratulations an account of your SotM title. A thorougly deserved award ! Take care ! Stanisław
