Thanks, if you wish more accurate measurements just ask. Mention which base. As i said, i used the actual stoves for most of my references. Also, metric is possible.
Hi Thomas, Just come upon your post about the stove board, amazing , Could you possibly share the measurements for a Whisperlite? I will give it a try myself.
Cookeez! Von Deutschland, ja. I can measure it later and I will try to have pics. Ist sehr einfach fur zum machen.
Vielen Dank / Thank you very much Thomas Any experience with the boards in hard packed snow? I have had some problems with boards slidding off easliy due to the slick surface. The cutout in the version you build may help. Thanks again!
Cookeez, The version I built, as you put it, is simply me trying to replicate what UCO produced and no longer manufactures. I am adding pictures with a ruler so you can see (both metric and imperial measurement) and then plan your construction based on those measurements. I hope this helps. In the last two photos you can see the stove attachment mechanisms. I simply cut and bent an old copper serving tray to make these. This was a fun project for me. I wish you all the bet in your build! Post pics!
Oh, I forgot to mention, I have not used this in snow yet, so cannot say how it works that way. However, I have seen Shug (youtuber) use his (UCO model) in snow and it seems fine.
Wow, This will make it so much easier, Thank you very much for the detailed pictures, very kind of you. I will post some pictures once I get everything together.
