With two model 100 stoves found together, with identical year and batch number, this seems a good way to determine how these stove sets came equiped. Like with Tom's model 100 stove ( see : Primus No. 100 from 1924) it seems clear these stoves came equiped with a roarer plate and silent pillbox for the burner bell (unlike in the 60's where one had an option for either one) Where I had some doubts about the authenticity of the windshield in Tom's thread, these two outfits show clearly these triangular windshields are original specification The two wrenches show PRIMUS stamped into both sides While having the same batch number, one burner bell sports the Primus name, while the other has no such mark, a similar randomness seen among the other stove models 96 and 97 The stoppers have a slightly domed appearance Finally, the tins might be among the first ones that would have shown the new colourfull display in yellow and red of the early twenties, as here they show the evidence of long and pragmatic use that could perhaps be described as 'character'. Fortunately the other thread by Tom shows this tin in all its splendour.
You are welcome, Magne. I think it is safe to say these stoves have earned back their investment. That is dignity in my book.
