    Post your nomination as a reply to this post.

    The rules
    • Maximum of 2 pictures in the entry - one of which will be used for the vote. If your stove is listed in the Stove Reference Gallery a link can be added with your entry (not compulsory).
    • Stove must be presently owned by the member.
    • One entry per member.
    • Stoves that have won previously are excluded.
    NB - no theme, no requirement to post in the SRG, no requirement to be lit or working.

    As I'm a bit late launching the February Sotm this nominations post will be open until 3 March. The post will then be closed & the qualifying stoves placed in a blind poll for members to vote for. The poll will remain open for 1 week. Most votes is the winner.

    The winner will get a SotM Winner notation on their posts & profile & a £10 voucher code from The Fettlebox

    Could a qualifying entry be a Frankenstove? I am thinking of one that consists of the core of an 8R clone with a newly configured windscreen/pot-support in lieu of the factory assemblage. It is a safe Frankie, and a shot of it lit and working could be included.

    I think I'll just give up. Last month 2 of my entries were disqualified because they didn't meet the criteria now my failing memory has disqualified me again. I am glad to see it won back in 2019. It is a nice stove.

    This stove was found in my grandparents basement, I was looking to see if i could find anything out about it. Thats how I found this site. Im hoping to win SOTM then on to SOTY. Actually Im just hoping someone can tell me about the year it was made and a little history. It looks like a great old stove to me but I know nothing other than a few colemans i own. Its the first kerosene stove I've held to have a pump. I don't have the wrench or cleaning tool I've seen that come with some. There is an A on the pump and an R on the bottom that might be makers marks or something similar. I hope someone likes it, anyways I do.

    Is that a stove or a volcano?

    Greetings, All,

    Here is our Speedster Backpacking Products stove, which we used for morning tea, at the CASG #11, as well as for other things during that excellent camp! Designed and made by CCS's own, Gary Green, this super lightweight stove is a joy to use, and bats far above it's weight class, and does so with ease! From tea, to stews, and just about anything else, this little Giant can do it all, with ease!

    And, on this morning, whilst a Trangia cooks breakfast, Sweet Bride was making our second cuppa tea.

    Great stove, that Speedster, and well worth owning, and using! Thanks for checking out our CASG camp, and our Speedster stove!

    - Doc and Sweet Bride

    @z1ulike

    That is what happens when you first light it as per the instructions until it warms up, :lol: there is a picture of it burning nicely in the gallery.
