Hello! I would like to share this Arara s15 stove! I never saw this version before... Any idea of the production date? Stove was in bad condition, so I decided to full restoration. What do you think about the result? Hope you like it!
Lovely resto. I am somewhat of an ARARA fan, as I bought an Arara37 in 2016, thinking it was the baby-daddy of the Svea 123. Mine's still got a locked up regulator stem, but I'm in no hurry to fettle it. Parts are unobtainable.
@Lantern-Shop.com Of the following (my comments & yours), i put your words in "italics" "Hello!" welcome back "I would like to share this Arara s15 stove! I never saw this version before... Any idea of the production date?" ** "Stove was in bad condition, so I decided to full restoration. What do you think about the result? Hope you like it!" Excellent. I join the praise above, well done. REQUEST: can you please include images of how it stows inside tin (as you show with your other S15 ***linked below). thank you -------------------- re your "Any idea of the production date?" **good question. First i turn it back to you, do YOU have any idea if this version came before or after your other S15: *** ARARA S15 ? Subscribers have access to a few Arara catalogs, i looked, i don't think a definitive answer is found there (i suggest please subscribe and have a look). for your inquiry: I consider Arara spirit stoves only. Catalogs, so far, limit production to the 1930s. Gallery examples suggest Arara examples from 1920s into "WW2". Another question would be what year range were Arara stoves in-production? I am sure some member(s) have an educated guess on this, myself, i do not know beyond the catalogs through the 1930s. Another couple questions back to you: This is a squared/box tank... is the shape/type of tank a dating clue itself? This is a folding stove "in tin" is this also a dating clue, how early or late was that type offered? ^^^ i went long but, for now 1930s is all i got. Other member(s) have more, we may learn more, myself i leave it there (1930s). good luck, thanks again.
@OMC Of course, no problem! The picture with the folded stove into box is attached. ** Which one is older? To be honest, no idea. Both have different burner, different construction. Not sure which one is more "modern". Maybe the other S15 is the "second" version and this one is older? The folding fuel tank, looks more practical, pre-heating pan is from steel... Thanks for your opinion about the year of production, my opinion is the same. 1930s. If someone else knows more, I really appreciate any info. Arara stoves are one of my favorites, very elegant, practical, and cute small stoves!
