I'd been looking for a regulated burner Meths single burner stove for awhile now. I found a Turm-Sport the other day in decent condition. After some research here and a trip to the big city, it followed me home. The case has a slight mis-alignment but with a little finesse it does latch. It was missing the filling cap gasket but the tank looked decent inside and the wick was clean. The spindle turned both ways. So I made a temp gasket and blew the tank out with air and put a little bit of fuel in it and let it sit for awhile to saturate the wick. The burner regulates and shuts off and the spindle hasn't leaked yet. It's quiet, I like it!
Good score. It is compact, quiet, and no pumping required. You just have to be a little patient because they aren't that powerful. Ben
fine found, if it's a user remember not to let for momth alcohol in the tank as it is prone to corrosion.
