Hello, i'm thinking about purchasing this stove and i haver a doubt This stove can run on kerosene ? Or just works with gasoline
Hi, Phoebus 625 can run on kerosene with proper jet, as it is with gasoline sized one it could not. But I guess also a correctly sized needle would be needed for the kerosene jet. Original Phoebus parts are hard to find. Nicola
There are different discussions about 625E for kerosene. Optimus 111 kerosene jets are compatible, but needles are different so I am not sure they can be used as well. Nicola
This stove that you want to buy is designed to run on gasoline. It may be possible to burn kerosene but it is not the recommended fuel for this stove. Because of that, there is a very good chance you will run into issues trying to use kerosene. You might get it to work, or you might not, it's not a guarantee like using gasoline would be. If you NEED a kerosene stove, this is not the one for you. It burns gasoline very well though.
