    Could anyone enlighten me as to the NSN and nomenclature for the oven that pairs with the no.3 stove?

    I have 2 of those, one painted black, the other olive green. Both NOS but slightly rusted. No NSN numbers to be found on them. I guess only later production carries an NSN number (made after the formation of NATO).

    Earlier Nomenclature
    • The complete assembly: Stove Mk3, Oven Mk3, Baking Dish & Roasting Dish is: J2/JB11130
    • The Mk3 Oven: J2/JB11131
    Later Nomenclature
    • Oven Baking and Roasting Mk3: J2/ 7310-99-125-1747
    Hope that helps,
    Alec.

    NSC = NATO STOCK CODE

    7310 = Food cookery, baking and serving equipment.

    99. = First Listed by the United Kingdom.

    the last seven digets are part of the NATO Stock code.
