So I just won this on a local auction site Goal is to clean it up and get her going as a car camping stove Obviously a seal kit is the go and a new pip in the blow off valve She is on need of work but hopefully a clean up and paint will go a long way to making her look good. I guess she runs on coleman fuel. Any special issues with this stove I need to be aware of?
They use the same NRV at the bottom of the pump tube as the regular kerosene stoves. So you want to make sure that it working exceedingly well. Kerosene flooding a pump tube is a nuisance, but naptha (Coleman feul/shellite/fuelite) flooding a pump tube could be a lot more serious since it is much more volatile. I think one of the burners may be very hard to source replacements for, but one the the experts will be able to advise you on that.
It hopefully arrives thursday Regarding seals, leather cups etc are there any bits interchangeable with other models??
Your first Swedish or Euro stove? Think of the 22 as a 111 with two burners. May want to check out the Stove Reference Gallery to see what I’m talking about. Many NRV’s, pips, pump cups are the same, although some things may be of two sizes mostly, depending on stove size sometimes. Good to stock up on parts from our sponsor. Duane
You have an early model with straight grate not the flower style and white control knobs. You have a compleat stove and condition is what it is, no big deal, the important thing is you plan on using it. On the small side in the two-burner world but gets the job done with 9 inch pans. Should have adjustable flame so it makes a good cooking stove. Fettle Box site host has this kit. Other small cups and pips will work also. Maybe a vinegar wash and semi-gloss clear an call it good? Yes it uses Coleman white gas.
Hi guys thanks for the advice. I will look for burner 'cups' locally if I cannot fettle them back. Local supplier (NZ) has just listed a seal kit for $15nz (5 quid) So I ordered one today. I am excited. He is posting it tomorrow. I THINK I will have it weds or thurs so can fit the seal kit and test burn her in the weekend.
The clips in the case that hold the control knobs ( when stowed away) often become detached. Yours are still attached, treat them kindly. The same goes for the clip that holds the little spanner. That rust is not a big deal. The burners will be fine. The flame rings are thin brass and can easily be reshaped. It is a great stove, built to last.
Something like this?? https://www.repco.co.nz/car-care-pa...lblQXULodDSkB56jGNBHEg5vp9Kh6rfIaAir3EALw_wcB $29nz is about $16 US. I will try vinegar and a plastic or brass scrubby on the inside. See how much paint is left...

You could clean it up with a wire bush but I would recommend electrolysis. There is a lot of information about the process on this site.
