Have you cleaned inside and what the wick look like. You most cleaned the inside even if you used a new one.
@BagheeraNZ before to buy a new needle give a perfect clean to the spindle and it’s seating inside the burner valve. Debris and gunk can cause the leak. Lock the spindle in a drill and polish the tip using some light abrasive paste on a cloth. Nicola
A bubble every five seconds could also come from the air still trapped below the jet… also check if after a while it stops.
It works fine (Well fires up weakly with no cleaning needle and turns off fine) But I think there is more wrong with thui, I will pull the wick in the weekend New spindle, graphite and needle odfered
