My Optimus Loke 85, unused Swedish Army issue, provenance courtesy @Nicola Francesco Elia, who owned this until he passed it on to me as a remarkably generous ‘thank you’ for some modest fettling of stove parts.

Nicola’s listing of the Loke in the Stove Reference Gallery is HERE.

@presscall good luck John! To be more precise I had a couple of surplus Loke 85, so I still keep one also for myself ;)

The fixes that you kindly made for me, modest or not, were not in my possibilities at that time and you did all what I asked you, so your repairs had and still have a great value for me.

Time is our more valuable resource and you always share it to fix stoves and parts for us. I hope that also the other members will understand how generous you are by offering your precious time to solve our problems.

    Nicola

Well I've been meaning to enter this comp for ages but keep getting distracted. However here is one of my first stoves and first attempt at fettling.

Fettling it nearly sent me to the 'knocker'
