Hi , Can anyone tell me what the name of this wire mesh is . It comes from Beatrice stove wick mechanism. Would anyone know correct name so I can serch on line to buy a sheet to make up a copy . thank you
Hi Jim, the word you are looking for is perforated. Plenty of materials, thicknesses and hole sizes out there to choose from, you should be able to find a close match.
Thanks for the reply , I try have a look and see what’s available and similar to the original . Thickness might be 0.60 or 1mm. In Ireland it’s so poor availability And online oversea delivery costs from UK on the wicked BAY site is scandalous. I’m lucky enough with the Beatrice No2 stove I only need wire mesh & mica . I’m going to strip back old black paint and respray . I’m getting to like the Beatrice stoves and simulator stoves
