Hi All, I purchased a leather pump cup kit from Amazon, and when it arrived, the leather pump cup appears to have a larger diameter than the Coleman 400a opening. The leather pump cup is also not a genuine Coleman part, its a clone. Will it soften-up after soaking it in oil? I don't want to go ahead and oil it up because then i can't return it, lol. I would rather just return it as is and get the proper part. Below are part number comparisons. I've found two Coleman leather pump cups but am not sure which is the correct one. Can someone guide me in the right direction? Thanks! Coleman clone part number: 3000005094 Model 1 Coleman part number: 3000005094 Model 2 Coleman part number: 216-5091
I just got back from the store where i bought a genuine Coleman part with the 3000005094 part number. Soaking it in 3-in-1 oil right now. Will report back if it fits.
With a little coaxing, it worked. The genuine Coleman part was definitely smaller in diameter than the clone part...just a tiny bit larger than the opening on the stove.
Hi Fai, Would you please measure pump tube's inner diameter and share with me? If I have proper mould (I have many), I can produce a proper leather cup for you.
