Hi everyone. After seeing a member on a page posting a "fireball", I completely fell in love with that idea. I decided to buy one for myself to try to replicate the "ball". It has already arrived, and the only problem I encountered was the pump piston falling apart, I replaced it and it lit on the first try. I don't know much about these small stoves and I would like to know if this set is complete. Nice 96! It looks complete to me. The package of prickers are from Monitor (a British company). Having the meths bottle is especially nice. (These are susceptible to pinholes from corrosion; does it have any pinholes?) The "V" on the bottom is the date code for 1931. (No one is sure what the 2 is; possibly tied to the manufacturing process.)

You seem to have figured out how to start it. ;)

Burning rich, but I notice the burner plate still gets red hot on many of mine.
