Hi, If you own a Coleman 400A stove or single burners that have two control valves and have encountered a generator clogging issue, do not immediately think that your generator is clogged. This stoves, luckily have their jets that can be unmounted. If cleaning tip haven't worked and your stove do not burn hot as initial, detach the generator assy and the jet and look inside. There is a high chance that a gummy residue clogs the orifice. If you manually clean the jet you will probably save your generator.
My pleasure. My stove's generator has clogged today. After many left-right rotations of the tip lever, the jet finally opened and my stove started to run as usual however since this has started to happen often nowadays, I have detached my generator, cleaned the jet (there was nothing to clog it, which is strange) and my stove has cold started with pure blue flames. That was an easy fix for me.
So your stove is the A, right, OK do you know that you can make a maintenance into the tank because it is a old model which is nice and why I chose the A ?
