Hi Migwar Without a size reference, there's some uncertainty, but to me, the filler cap looks rather small in relation to the tank. In other words, if the filler cap is standard, it might be a relatively large stove. If the entire stove is a Radius (and not just the burner), the proportions of a Radius 36 look similar to me: Stove Reference Gallery: Radius 36 Best, Christina
I agree with Christina- it looks like a Radius 34. These large size Radius stoves are an uncommon find, they don't seem to have sold in anything like the numbers the larger Primus models did.

@Migwar Sorry to get your hopes up, inventing stoves which don't exist! I wish Radius had produced a lot more models though. Although my wallet wouldn't agree!

Hi again, Performing some restoration. I usually prefer to keep stoves old patina like what I did with the 35. Engraving was covered for this stove. While I am doing the usual fettling, I started cleaning the tank. Surprisingly the stove appeared to be a 26!!! Didn't find any 26s in the SRG. Regards, Migwar
@Migwar An even more interesting find then. The Radius No.26 is a silent burner model, featured in a 1950s catalogue only in the (somewhat limited) selection on CCS. Primus really did seem to have the majority of the market when it came to larger sized stoves, both silent and roarer.
@Blackdog This one features a roarer Radius, and due to the burner, I could identify that the stove was a radius since everything else was obscured. The stove is marked Radius number 26, and there is no "Ltd." Not sure if someone in the past switched the burners, from the size it doesn't seem like so. Thank you, Migwar
@Migwar Amendment to what I wrote above, which is twaddle and suggests I need more sleep! The No.26 is the roarer version of this stove, the No.26A is the silent. The A designation is somewhat unusal for Radius. So it is the original type of burner, and most likely a pre-1938 example from the markings. There are relatively few Radius catalogues uploaded to CCS, and catalogues were not always accurate, so examples like yours turning up really do add to the knowledge base!
