Here I show to you an prototype wich never got into real serial production. It is an Optimus 8 with alcohol burner, and even a integreatet pump on the fuel tank. As on 111 A and 22 A,the box are not done higher for the key to fit into a stearing hole. They have also done some work at the pot support. I have now other documentation beside my long talk to the person I bought it from. And I will not give any ferder information in respect of this person.
@LoveFire Yes I think maybe it has made some succe in the US and other places. But off course we all maybe rather drink the alcohol

@gnome I agree! I "guess" the marked in Sweden was marginal, they used mostly kerosene and petrol on their stoves, as we also did in Norway bytheway
@King Rat Some day I will test it, but never get it into regular use. I have a lot of stoves for camp use, and this summer just half of them has seen the daylight But there will always be a new to short summer
Beautiful example. The unit looks to have had only low-time usage, but not unfired. And the pot support is better than the 8r's. A pump in a #8 fuel tank is unique. Presently in the US, Coleman brand gas [naptha] is $15 a US Gallon [3.78L], while KleenStrip denatured alcohol is $21 a gallon. Potable Everclear [Grain Alcohol] is about $20 a 'fifth' [750 ml]. I found Racing Methanol in bulk for $5 bucks a gallon at my local Hot Rod Shop, where they filled my empty alco can. Until I found the Racing Meths, it was cheaper to burn naptha. Is this stove Alcohol-Only, or is it bi- or triple fuel capable?
@SveaSizzler Even less than lowtime usage as far as I had it described It has been tested! I'd like to be proved wrong , but my minor information about it, tell's it never got in to production
