I have a camping gaz globetrotter which will not light. There is fuel in the cannister. Sometimes I get a flareup, mostly just hissing. Obviously if I remove the canister the gas will leak out. I tried to make a video, but it is too large to load. My other camping gaz stoves from the same era light fine. This is why I drink. Any ideas?

Can you unscrew the burner head and clean the jet?

I hadn't thought about that. I have little experience with these so I can give that a shot.

You could provide a link to a video.

If it's hissing, it should go.
    Have you lit this before?
    Looking forward to more news.

I don't have a small enough cleaning needle to fit the jet. Any plan B ideas?

A wire brush wire is usually small enough for most appliances, not sure about a GT.

My Hank Roberts uses a .006 wire, which is a common tip cleaner size.

Alan, might try a light gauge high E guitar string.

Or unscrew the jet and wash it.
