Hello everyone, I've recently acquired a 111T Optimus stove that lacks its windscreen. Sharing with the forum some windscreens which I am doing myself, based on dimensions shared on this forum. The metal now used is cheap 0.5 mm and will later, after tuning and testing these for some time on different levels, produce in stainless steel and in brass if possible. That will be in near future. Below are some photos under processing. Thanks and regards, Migwar
Looks pretty good, that'll do the trick. I especially like the patina on the tank. Great stove the 111T, it's my go to for cooking. I only use K1 kerosene on mine.. simmers better than any stove I own. For sheer boiling power I open up my 111 to full roar.
Dear friends, Please see the below picture. It is a developed version made of brass. I will kindly share more pictures shortly. Regards, Ali
Thanks all. I believe the diameter should be 2 mm less, so that the shield is closer to the burner circumference as seen in some similar stoves, the shield can be few millimeters shorter as well, and the 3 little hanging points attachments should be improved for better looking. In terms of functionality, it serves the purpose. Best regards, Migwar
That looks very good indeed! As for your 'self criticism', don't be to hard on yourself. The windshield looks professional made. I would use it without any worries. The extra room around the burner might even help it burn better then with the original screen.
