Used my Russian Shmel 4 to cook up some steak and peppers. Was planning on being in the wilds but our electric company is threating to cut off power due to high winds. High winds where to start today but as you see the silent burner could care less. Weather folks are saying Monday maybe?
Having lunch on a windy and foggy summit of Shining Tor in the Peak District. On a handy wooden bench behind the drystone wall sheltering from the wind. Water being boiled in Optimus 99 lid while pasta heating on top for lunch:
Nice outing, always like seeing a 99 in action. Looks as if your pasta pot was couple CM's wider it would nest the 99 for compact second pot.
Not sure who copied who. Basically, all have fount, three pot supports and a controlled burner like so many on this planet. Shmel 1 top photo is more like the 625. Shemel 4 has wider fount and different pot stand attachment. Not sure how the internals of burner differ.
@gnome Looks good! One of these days we should trade some seasonings haha...I can send you some tex mex seasonings that would be probably quite interesting for you to try out! The wife is from Slovakia but adores mexican food so much I think she is turning mexican haha
Made some meatloaf for Sunday dinner in a Wagner corn bread skillet and had leftovers. Used my lunch box 111B to sauté up some garden peppers and onion to wrap in a burrito.
Heating up some homemade chicken corn chowder on a SVEA 123 for lunch at work. The low simmer ability of these is great for a thick soup.
I need to make smaller batches of stuff. Same chicken corn chowder, different day. Lunch break at work.

@gnome I want a kettle like that for my stoves Man there is some good loking food in these posts. Good job guys. My smart stove went on the fritz two days ago and the repairman doesn't come by until Saturday. Today I broke out the eleventy one with the 1.6L Alpha Pot and made some shrimp and pork wonton soup. It was absolutely delicious.
