Primus 71 1952, 1/3 pint (aka shorty P71), *unique filler cap.
*What i found on-topic as of Aug 2021 is here
Ive reviewed these extensively thru the years, i expect this is as-original.
This came to me in an Edelweiss cook set, my guess:
the cook set was sold with it, the same year or soon after.
FYI my Edelweiss aligns with Christina's ver. (3)

I have referenced this '52 shorty P71 multiple times onsite. Here is one of those, my:
""a couple notable pieces of my '52:
It has the (air restrictor) burner head, a link for more details.
This 1952 is an exception to the rule because that burner head was phased out end of 1950 (possibly early '51). The 1951 instructions no longer included it.
[the 4608 pricker was phased out by '51 also btw]
    AND the other piece...-
it's rare filler cap (only seen on 1952 shorty P71), here is link to that detail.""

    That's literally a unique Primus No. 71.

I'll be keeping my eyes open for that 71/filler cap (combination again: thanks for the reminder).

@OMC : Thank you for showing that 71.

Two comments, regarding the air restrictor burner bell:

    (1) The instructions you linked seem to have a 1952 printers' mark (if I read that correctly). There actually is a 1951 version that shows and explains the restrictor (which I shall scan for the reference library...).

    (2) In the gallery, there are two 1955 Primus 71s in Edelweiss kits that still have the restrictor:
1955 Primus 71 Edelweiss (apparently NOS)
1955 N°71 & Edelweiss (Wim 's instructions also seem to include the restrictor. @Wim , could you maybe check the printers' mark on your instructions?)

This makes me wonder whether the restrictor may have been discontinued at different points in time for different markets.

    Best,

    Christina

I am fortunate enough to have bought one of these "shorty" P72 stoves off EBay. A curious stove with the pressure relief valve and soldered wire device. "AR" 1952 model, that went with a cookset, not like a regular P 71 in the silver colored tin box.

@night_owl Hello Christina, the printers mark (in extremely small lettering) reads: WESTERBERGS BOKTR.AB.STOCKHOLM 36554

I hope this is of any help to you

    Merry Christmas,

@Wim Hello Wim and thank you very much for looking it up. Actually, I had hoped for an obvious date code and am not sure whether that "36554" may be interpreted as 1954, or something else entirely.

The instructions I have here (also printed by Westerbergs) that came with a 1951 stove clearly state "1951", which I assume to be the year they were printed (followed by a two-digit "83", which may or may not be a job number or some such).

Anyway, thank you very much, and Merry Christmas to all,

    Christina
