A No.3 The Compact Primus Outfit the date stamp on the font is a "C" for 1913, the case has surface rust and is missing the brass plaque, the Meths tin has a dose of tin worm, the fuel can and spares tin are in good condition for their age. it was missing the roarer flame plate, I have replaced this with a NOS SVEA made one. The Instructions that came enclosed are Here, Hints on the Management Here and Compact Outfit Packing Label Here More to Follow
@richmay Very nice early example, i like the way the tin is designed with fuel and spirit cans made to fit perfectly, and so much attention to detail build of the stove
@Sellig33 @Pharael @mr optimus Thank you Gentleman I will see if I can repair the bottom of the meths tin, there a couple of rust pin holes in it, I might get away with a thin layer resin poured in the tin, then solder on the outside.
Great outfit in lovely condition, glad it's been spared the polishing cloth. These stoves must have been quite something in their day- eye catching discus tank, simple tubeless cone burner and silent and roarer options for the best of both worlds.
