Mrs. B decided to come along with Buster dog and I on our morning walk. Buster and I pick a different local forest preserve each day. On today's walk, we picked up some empty water bottles dropped along the path by low lives. As Mrs. B was tossing what she had in the recycling, she said, "Hey, there's a Coleman stove in here." Yeah, there was, so I dumpster dived it and brought it home.
    It's a 413H, dated 1 89.

The tank still had fuel in it. The fuel smelled like white gas, if not Coleman fuel. The pump built and held pressure. And it lit.

Figures that the clouds would break just when I took that pic. The other burner also lit. The fumes did kinda sorta smell like drier sheets, though. Crappy cheap fuel?

I'll clean this up and use it to replace the first generation, five dollar, beat to hell 413 we use in our travel trailer.

    Fun Find!!

My old 413D (is that what your old one is?) has sat on my porch for years, and it looks it. Not sure I could ever replace it.

@Majicwrench Yes it is. A very beat up, bent, and painted by hand with Forest Green Rustoleum 413D. It does what I ask of it.

I painted the tank on mine a few years ago thinking it might slow down the rust. The rest of stove looks like it has sat in the weather for a decade or more.
