Have you ever lost a stove, or just forgot where you put it?

Last July all of my stoves were accounted for, I thought. I went looking for a specific Optimus pump that had been glued around the NRV section at the base of the pump. Good news I know where that pump is but, in the process I can't one of my two-tone Nova's and a regular new model Nova which has the serial number on it. The other weird part is I found an extra undocumented old-style Nova minus the pump.

Yes, I have. Best part is redicovering it. It (sort of) behaves like buried treasure. As a pirate, I’d have starved for want of mislaid funds.

I have too. I've a big Radius somewhere, a thirty-something. I haven't seen in in half a decade. Having stoves scattered over three counties doesn't help.

I started accumulating stoves and lamps while still at my parent's address, they were not too pleased about it so I distributed them all over the place in an attempt to conceal numbers. Garage, greenhouse, under the bed.... I forgot about a Monitor tucked behind insulation in the loft then rediscovered it a year later. I think all are accounted for now.

Yes, currently looking for my Svea 123.
Moved 4 times in 3 years, it could be in the loft - I hope so.

I've lost and forgotten most of my stoves. They are stashed everywhere in my garage and in the attic. Some still in the unopened boxes they were sent in. I keep thinking I should get things sorted out but that will most likely fall to my heirs.

I "lost" a Optimus 324 for almost a year. Was really bummed. Found it in one of the cars I never drive, was so excited! (I must have driven the car once that year)

There's an M-1950 unaccounted for. Could be in the basement, could be in the garage. Could be hiding in plain sight.

My Optimus climber, bought in 1985. Went walkabout in an international house move 17 years ago. An optimus rider also went at the same time.

I've also had the exact opposite problem. I gave away a Parasene last year- with tank lettering pressed outwards rather than the usual inwards- thinking I had another. It turned out I didn't, that's what you get for being generous. Or rather a bit disorganised.

I did find a Coleman Apex I today that I could not find last month. For some reason it was in the spare parts box and not the stove box.
