Hello, Could you help me with a date for this stove please. It has R 37 on the base and I can't see that in the chart I found on here. Thanks

One problem. Burner says radius. Cant see markings on the tank or filler. I thought the dateing only worked for primus
The 2-digit number is not known but I have wondered if it may stand for the week of production/manufacture (01 to 52) assuming of course, these numbers do not exceed 52 on any Primus stove!
Ok… you sent me off on a search through the Reference Gallery. The highest number I’ve found under the date letter is 37, with most numbers up to 30. For it to be a “week” would require a more even distribution of numbers. But! One thing I did notice was that the early dated 500s series of two burner stoves (1920s - 30s) had the number “5” under the date-letter. This would indicate the number was indicating something in the manufacturing process. I’m sure back in the day, @Spiritburner, @abbahco1, @optipri, @mackburner (Neil McRae, RIP), and Arne Aasgaard must have gone through many hypotheses. Cheers Tony

@Gashosh It’s a 1927 Primus stove with some replacement parts. The Radius burner is fine for the stove. The original burner and air release screw being replaced at some stage. Cheers Tony
