Hello, first post here! I bought a 413g 1978 model on eBay and I found that the auxiliary burner handle was screwing all the way off when opening the burner valve. I took off the burner rings and found that it’s missing the little c-clip that holds everything on the rod. I seem to be out of luck on finding this part online. It also looks like it wouldn’t be easy to fit the other parts on, then put the c-clip on in that little space inside the burner. Does anyone have suggestions? Or am I looking at getting a whole new (used) burner assembly off eBay? I hate to have to get another burner assembly because the one on this stove is so clean and pristine looking. Thanks.

I think the retaining clip is pretty common across the later stoves. May want to check old 424 stove parts for it, or just make something to work.

I believe what you want is called an e-clip.
When I needed one, I went to Ace Hardware and they had various sizes to choose from.

Thanks for the replies! I’ll check out the E-clips. I’ll see if I can make that work.
