I have two Plumbob Pressure Stoves in my collection.

Both decals on the two stoves appear to me to be identical, other than in relative size - one stove has the larger size ‘PLUMBOB BRAND’ decal and the other stove has a much smaller size ‘PLUMBOB BRAND’ decal.

From what I can gather, Plumbob was a 1960’s wholesale hardware retailer in the U.K. who commissioned the Birmingham based M H Berlyn & Co (manufacturer of the Parasene stove) to produce this stove for them. One of my Plumbob stoves came with a 1968 date of purchase notation.

The attached decal photo is taken from the stove which has the small size decal, as this decal was the most complete of the two.

To obtain the correct dimensions for both the large and small type decals, resize the picture using only the horizontal aspect ratio to the following picture width size, depending on whether the large or small decal is required:

    Large type decal: 6.37cm/2.51”

    Small type decal: 3.32cm/1.31”
