I got a volcano that fits in the palm of my hand. If I placed a large kettle on the box, the flames would directly hit the box, so I made a heat shield out of brass plate. I made the height of the heat shield slightly higher than the height of the box to prevent the flames from hitting the box and maintain stability. A commemorative photo with the volcano, which fits into a slightly larger box. Thank you.
Look above the thread title, you'll see the country in which it has been placed within the stove reference gallery
Thanks. I didn't know that trick. A close up of the flame plate reads ''Allemania'' which means Germany in some languages. Funny, I missed it looking in the Stove Gallery under Germany. Actually, the style reminded me of Enders, so I suspected Germany from the first. Damn clever, those Germans.
@The Warrior Thank you. The tank looks like a 222 cut in half, but it's cute. @A A C When considering the shape of the heat shield, I aimed for something simple that would be easy to attach and remove, would not slip off once attached. I'm glad to receive your comment.
@gnome @Tony Press @Stanisław Grajewski @Knee @itchy Yes, it's a very cute Vulcano. The stove body is made of thick brass and is heavy for its size, which makes a poor person like me feel it has a sense of luxury.
@mr optimus I also like taking photos, so I'm glad to receive your message about the photos. Thank you. @SveaSizzler @Blackdog I don't know what "Allemania" means. Does it mean Germany?
Yes, Numao, In fact, the French word for Germany is ,,Allemagne.'' In Roman times, The Alemanni were a confederation of Germanic tribes on the Upper Rhine River during the First Millenium. The Byzantine Greek root word Alemanni means ''All Men'' -- meaning they were a conglomeration formed from various different Germanic groups. They settled in Swabia, Baden, Alsace, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Vorarlburg, Austria. Still there, I guess.
@SveaSizzler Thank you for teaching me. I probably would never have done it if you hadn't taught me. You're all so knowledgeable.
