@optiben80 I like the idea of a Oring on yours because it seems to be made to receive one compare to other but with a Oring sealer of smaller diameter. Also make sure it doesn't have any imperfection on treads cause it doesn't take much for air to go trough. You know!!!!! This tread sealant with PTFE is what is needed for that job. -Please do research.... Have fun
Cheap, Cheap, Cheap I am not so sure, materials used to make it is good BUT the designer miss the boats on that model which can be a good thing because once it is corrected, it may be good for ever as the latest model, However I call something CHEAP when materials is of pour quality. But still repairable and in my experience when it is fix with quality materials and design, it can be good for a long time. I don't think Optimus has made CHEAP stove etc.
Thank you, yes I saw that however I was trying out Alec’s suggestion from earlier in this thread first.
The one thing to remember when using silicone. It leaves behind traces of itself. It cannot be cleaned from the surface. At Boeing, any silicone contaminated part had to be replaced.
