"Vintage army cook burner" ID?

    This was for sale a ways from me in North Carolina. I did not try to buy it, just curious as to what it is? There is a lot of US military presence in my state but this is mot the typical M1942 or 1950 I see. Thanks.

    Its an alcohol stove. I dont think its military. Looks like a Desca...but I have a Meva that looks the same.

    I certainly agree that it is an alcohol (meths) stove, and I can't imagine its a military stove (at least not US military). I'm guessing the color and/or the box it is on led to the description.
