I have a very good Primus 1S. I changed the NVR (I used a Fogas). It was working perfectly until the last time. I had a leak inside the pump. So I decided to screw the NVR a little more with my tool. Bad idea: the NVR broke inside the pump! Now impossible to disassemble the lower part. Very disappointed. Yannick
Two options, out or in! Try using a Torx headed/sharp flat-blade (or similar) screwdriver to screw the remains of the brass cone out of the NRV body, you can then do similar to screw the body of the NRV into (or out of) the tank. If everything is too tight you'll have to drill the cone out and use a screw extractor/screwdriver to remove the NRV body. Good luck, the head is off so the locking device is off of the NRV, if you are lucky and nothing has galled/seized together, things will unscrew in a relatively straightforward manner.... Alec.
Any screwdriver sharp enough to bite in. It's only brass and you have nothing to lose. Even sharpen/flat a piece of round bar, sacrifice an old screwdriver etc. Alec.
@fjfj765 mailing from France to USA and back for a two pints is a little inconvenient. I can easily fix that @Yannick Michel, if Italy is more convenient for you Nicola
Maybe higher a stove repair person, to keep on retainer, for any repairs to vintage stoves. I'm sure there are plenty of vintage car owners incapable of car upkeep.

No expert but having done both methods I think the desoldering of the tube is a lot easier in the long run.
