    Hi everyone,

Just joined the site and looking forward to looking through the site.

I have just bought a wood fired Hestia stove No10, (I believe it was made around the 1920’s but I could be wrong).

I was wondering if any of you have any info on it, especially where the flue was connected to the stove.

The internet seems very sparse on info on this stove, so any pointers on where to look would be gratefully received.

    I think it is missing an ash-tray, see photos. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

I have spoken to the current Hestia Stove company, but they are a completely different outfit, who only started up in the 1960’s, and are based in Northern Ireland, and have no links or info to help me.

    Thanks for looking

Hi Spritburner, thanks for your prompt response.
I had no idea that a Primus stove was used for heating … I have one of those in the shed.
I am going to have great fun with this.
I normally cook on an open camp fire with the long-handled frying pans and Victorian silver-lined pots and Dutch ovens.
    Thanks again for your help.
If there is any other info out there I would still be happy to receive it, especially what model Primus stove is used with it.
