    I have another post describing my adoration of the Optimus 199 back at a time when I was too young to own one. I recently looked into the possibility again, but I have quickly resigned myself that unless I stumble across someone that doesn't know what they have, I'm not likely to own one. I'm not paying $1000+ for a stove.

    So I'm now looking at the 111T. Not really a 1-to-1 replacement but still a vintage Optimus triple fuel. I notice many being offered do not include the jet or restrictor to run alcohol/meths. Is there a source for these 2 parts, or are they unobtainable? I'm trying to decide if I come across a decent stove minus the jet and restrictor, if it is worth acquiring and finding those parts later if I want to make it "complete". I'm guessing these are frequently lost/separated pieces from these stoves. It seems that A&H Enterprises might but not sure if they are still in business.

    Thanks!

    "Yes" meaning available/obtainable, or "Yes" unobtainable?

    Yes, to me.
    The stove functions without having them.

    @Zanq

    There are a couple of threads on this site where people have made restrictors to run the Optimus 111 (with a silent burner) on alcohol.

    Occasionally they come up on the Bay of Evil, but it’s possible to use brass tubing to make your own.

    You can also convert a standard jet in the nipple of a 111 to enlarge it to the diameter of the alcohol jet.

    Ethanol is the optimal alcohol.

    The Base-Camp.co.UK lists both parts:

    Anyone has the official jet sizes for the 111T both alcohol and Kero?

    Thank you for the info. I’m running kerosene on my 111T now for about 20 years, I feel like the original jet is starting to get a bit worn out.
    May look at ordering one, just don’t know where.
