Primus No.6, 'Z' 1935 - making of a user.

    'Not another one!' - yes another one. Britain must have had a rather large consignment of Primus No.6s in 1935, this is the 4th one I've come across! Well used by the wear on the pump tube cap and by the dreadful state of the cap-less burner it came with. The latter was completely unsalvageable, with multiple splits in the threadbare top and skirt. Overall, however, the stove was nevertheless too good to abandon, especially since I already had both an NOS cast top plate and a new Indian 'Computer' brand 'No.2' silent burner lying around on the off chance:whistle:

    So really a very easy fix to produce a perfectly good 'user' functional No.6:

    It would be interesting to know who received the consignments of these stoves, and whether they were for pre-ordered onward sale.
