Problem with an Optimus 48

    60810739-F877-4C31-918F-DC58F7EAB20B.jpeg I have a problem with the pump of an Optimus 48 which after a few minutes of operation comes out of the tube.
    I guess there is some pressure going into the tube but how to solve the problem, thanks.

    It will either be:
    -The internal seal in the pump valve (commonly called the non return valve/NRV 'pip' on this site) hardened or damaged and no longer sealing.
    -The pump valve to pump tube seal, originally a lead sealing washer which is sometimes absent. Replacement can be lead or thick HDPE plastic


    -Very much less likely but possible, a crack in the pump tube or leak in the pump tube soldered joint.
