And so my collection grows... I got this little beauty (Cadac compact 3) at the flea market last Saturday.. Can't find any info on it, but by the style & the color I guess it to be around 1960 - early 1970. What's so nice about this unit is that it can either be a free standing unit or a table top. I believe I also have it's pre-decessor! (which I've posted about here) a Fuchs 2 burner with primus burners.... Apart from a good clean I'm of a mind to keep it just as is, dings and all... It's not that bad https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=2368231700165619
Morning Majic & Marc... It's simplicity is marvelous. Look at the wind shields, no fancy latching system, just pop them behind the holder.... It's nice-n-sturdy on it's legs as well... You fundies would have laughed at me.... The connecter to the propain bottle is fixed. Not realising that the gas pipe can screw loose at the stove end, I inverted the propane bottle and screwed it onto the fitting....... Not once, Twice! the seal was shot.... Then I looked closely and BINGO! now I know why the fitting at the propane tank end is fixed! Well I suppose that's how things go... here is a pic of a slightly older 2 burner, I'm shure you can see the similarity. without any form of confirmation, I'm certain it's the predessor.
