    Looking down the pump tube I cannot see a screw in NRV and there is nothing to catch any extractor. I presume the nut on the pump tube riser may actually undo something but it doesn't look like it and I don't wish to wreck it.

    Any thoughts on how to get the NRV out for servicing? After 130 years I think that might be worthwhile as pumping the stove was incredibly hard so I am servicing the pump leather and hoped to do the NRV as well.

    Thanks

    Also any ideas what the Y on the fount base might mean?

    Also don't you hate it when cleaning a stove a leg fails? Another soldering job for the queue.

    @Sedgman
    I’ve never encountered that…
    Might have to remove the pump tube?

    Thanks @Rodger Willows its in the same ballpark and I think the nut on mine must unscrew the pump tube. Seems obvious but not seeing any thread made me very weary. The leg is back on but a bit more work before she may fire up.
