    Hello
I found a very nice Radius 43B that you can see on the stove reference gallery. it was working nicely. But today its behavior is different ! There is some yellow flame with the blue and the burner pulsates. What could be the problem ?
    Thank you

    Yannick

What did you do different? You are the one that used it.
    Different fuel source?
    Removed caps?
    Changed seals?
    Using it outdoors?
    Windy environment?
    Full tank?
    Empty tank?
    Different priming fuel?

You are the only one thats knows.

I'm sure you experienced people will have some advice.
If possible, I would like to see a video showing the situation.

Look for the jet to be loose....sometimes yellow flames can be the jet letting a little flame out the side of it under the cap. When you got the stove, did you rebuild it or just check it and try it out?

I have quite a few 43's...but every one of them needed to be rebuilt completely, and being a B (benzin) maybe there is some crap in the tank thats trying to make it out the jet.

How long did you run the stove? I have noticed on some of my stoves that if you apply too many pumps the stove will pulsate until it gets hot and starts to self-pressurize/regulate.

    Hello
Thank you all of you for your answers, all always interesting.

I suspect that I used Kerosene ! Instead of white gas . But I’m not sure… i know that using white gas in a kerosene stove is very dangerous but here it is the contrary.
I didn't disassemble the jet as it is very well sealed. I just changed the filler cap gasket and added a graphite washer to the control valve as there was a small leak.
How many times do you pump with your Radius 43B before priming it ?
@Camp numao How to post a video on CCS ?

Well, you can easily tell. May need to read more topics on stoves.

Dangerous words, if you are not sure what fuel you used.
    Be careful!

Sorry, I don't know if it's possible to post videos directly to CCS.
I post them on YouTube and share them by pasting the URL.

As everyone has said, could there be kerosene mixed in?
(I doubt you would do that though...)

    @Skauvill Thank you.
@Camp numao I think I did this (I’m not proud of that !) : I introduced by mistake some Kerosene in the tank….

If the problem is caused by kerosene, then it's not a malfunction, so that's a relief.

No need to be embarrassed on filling it with the wrong fuel, you would not believe how many times over the years I accidentally poured priming alcohol into my kerosene stoves. Yeah, funny thing is I label all my fuel bottles but do you think I read them? Not always. Haha
