Hey there. Plan to go for a trip, and will take optimus 8r. Would like to ask you guys which parts will most likely to fail. Maybe gaskets, etc. And where can I get them? Will a plain o ring that I can get from an hardware store suffice? If so, which sizes should I get? Or will I need to get a specific set made from a specific material? Thank you in advance.

Not much to fail on these. If it’s working good now before your trip, an extra fuel cap seal or entire extra cap with a good seal should be all you’d need. A regular o-ring will work if it’s Nitrile or Viton material. Regular butyl plumbing type o-rings will swell up and deform when exposed to fuel.
