    @Daryl - That looks like a hearty meal
    @Yannick Michel - I'll second IvanN's comment. That looks tasty. I need to get me one of those apple ovens

    Still being careful as I recover from shoulder surgery but had to do something. The kero stove and SVEA 123 don't take much pumping! The cold and fog slowed things way down, I ended up lighting my kero heater in the outdoor kitchen to help the bread and myself! This month long valley fog is wearing on me.

    Whole meal irish soda bread and a strong gunpowder tea. A meal fit for a stocky Irish boy like myself. The stone ground flour gives a different texture and nutty flavor. Simple but good on a cold day.

    Great. I hope that you heal well.

    It's been awhile since I had gunpowder tea. I have liked it.

    I have had soda bread. Maybe made wrong, I do not prefer it.

    @FishNChips - That is some hardy looking bread. I love Irish soda bread myself especially with some Guiness corned beef and cabbage.

    Not really soup weather, temps in low 80's (26'sC)! Turkey wing has been in freezer long enough. Cut it up then sautéed and simmered with some other veges on 426B. sunny SoCal

    Heavy rain, wind and no power so moved into the outside kitchen to keep the smoke out of the house. I lit a lamp for light and used the 3F as its easier to clean than my kitchen stove.

    Smash burgers on sour dough. I used my toaster to toast the bread. They came out great. Sorry for the muted lighting but its all by GPA.

    @FishNChips - Looks good man. There's nothing like a power outage to justify a stove and lantern collection with the wife lol. Our power went off last week for only an hour but I was already planning supper on the stove lol.

    Something different. A little 1 qt ice cream churn, it worked well for 130+ years old. I gave it a good cleaning and oiled with food safe oil and grease. I cooked up some old fashion custard ice cream mix and let it cool. It took about 25 min of hand cranking, maybe not the best idea after shoulder surgery, lol

    Push the little Kampkook No. 3 to it's limit with No. 8 Griswold skillet. Made this tortellini and sausage plenty of times and always good. If you can fry sausage, boil water and make simple cream sauce you are good. Sourdough is not rocket science either.

    @Daryl

    What do you use ‘HEET’ for in this type of setting?

    @Pharael Heet is to preheat CI burner & generator, yellow HEET is nearly 100% methanol (wood alcohol).

    Out enjoying the brief sunshine before the next storm, I made some fish cakes. Just canned tuna but they were great.

    Raining and cold but the kitchen is warm and dry. Chicken fried steak on the Turner 1111.
