I've had the main bits of a Radius 43 on my shelf for years. I guess I hoped for random parts to be sold by people with non working stoves. Nothing ever happened. I was finally invigorated by a Taiwanese seller, Super Lantern Shop, who is making copper windscreens for Geniol and Optimus stoves. Very good quality, low price, mid range shipping. I checked my Bund windscreen and knew it would fit. When it came I drew a template I needed to cut for the fat fuel line. I did a barely respectable job with a file to cut out the space. The copper is harder than i thought. The stove was also missing any spirit cup but a spare one from a 8R worked. No control knob so it has a Russian P1 knob I came by. The NRV got rebuilt, the tank cleaned, the broken cleaning needle was replaced and the I found the jet to be very gummed up. My solution was to replace it with one of my spares which is almost assuredly an 8R or 99 jet. The flame shots I took are at it's highest output. Pumping does not have a noticeable effect. The top 2 rows of holes are never engaged unless the stove is at a low simmer. I am hoping someone has a good guess as to what a different jet would do. I have one from a 199 and one from a 111C. But us that a likely outcome? I envy these pictures form the reference library. I had mine running fo r 20 minutes and the grate didn't turn red.
@Paul B That looks extremely lean to me. You are using the 2509 (.32mm) nipple. The 2510 "gas nipple" for the 111B (.37mm) might help if you could find one. From Basecamp 2509 Jet for stoves 8R, 11, 111, 123R, 199, 5R, 55, 155, 535 2510 Jet for stoves 11, 22B, 111B Petrol (Gasoline)
