Hello Here's a picture of a Max Sievert Campus 3 tube. The old wick is on the right, the new one is on the left. I think I cleaned the tube thoroughly. When I pressurize it and open the valve, no fuel comes out of the nozzle. However, when I unscrew the tank cap, there is a clear release of pressure. I don't understand why I can't get any fuel to come out. Can tou help me to resolve the problem ? Thank you Yannick
I just scraped the inside of the tube again. There was still a lot of carbon deposits! The position of the wick is surely important too. I understand from reading on CCS that you need to leave a gap between the wick and the top of the tube. Can you confirm this?
Can you blow air with your mouth through it? I recently had a burner that was coked up like that, and I had to pick it out with a wire to clear it. Regarding the gap...there should be a small gap of a few millimeters..
