Are both burners the same? And what is the shape of the nipple? A photo or photos of the stove would help. Cheers Tony
@Geoff Lambourn Why are you looking for jets? Are they missing? Propane is very clean burning, maybe they just need to soak in some solvent.
Hi Hunter , thanks, you spurred me into action. I found a fine enough needle to actually give the jets a good clean. Got it working and it sputtered and died again after a couple of minutes. I think my problem is the gas bottle , it's out of date by several years and the gas in it is old. Cleaned jets again and changed to a different bottle and no problem. I've also put a tool kit together, so hopefully we'll be cooking with gas next trip .
Some pics, The blue bottle,I think was causing the sputtering and blocking . Too old, Scaling. Note no inbuilt piezo ignition. I've just bought a couple of MSR piezo igniters they're great , got tired of the lighter holding it upside down above the burner wasn't a lot of fun. Also put a tool kit together. Saw another stove same model ,but three burner, for sale for $19 ! Tempted but it's a 4 hour round trip.

Thanks, yes indeed. The burner in your picture, my Dad had two like that. I remember them from the early sixties, he would've had them as early as late 40's early 50's , I can't remember if they had the pump pressure/prime , I'll ask my Brother he may even still have them.
