    Hy all!

I found an unfired, boxed kerosene camping stove. 1987 was made in the USSR.

I've tried kerosene, working but the flame is not stable, I think dirty a little, I'll clean that, and try again.

    Roy 77,
in pictures 3 & 4 you've got the flame spreader on upside down. Maybe this is why it's not burning well /unstable flame ?
    Just a thought

Yes i know , it's just arrived, and i take some photos.

The flame is unstable, or unbalanced.. from four flame one is higher and the color is different.

Nine from ten of these stoves work badly or don't work without repair.

I have one of these dated 1967. Preheats and lights easily but jet shoots fuel at angle to where flame is mostly to one side of the burner. Will be attempting to make a new jet once I figure out all the drill size, thread pitch etc.
Sturdy built stove which I hope to put to use when the kinks are worked out. Charlie

Fun project for my recent acquired Taig lathe. Made new jet. Thread size M5X0.5 . Worked great, then decided to try a converted 3D printer nozzle (.3mm) which also worked well and a much easier fix. Makes a great user stove.
