As it was such a lovely warm evening and in honour of National Bialaddin / Vapalux Day I thought I'd light up a few of mine.

Having lit a different lamp each day of advent there was only one thing left to do on Christmas day.

    Hi Albert

If you mean the one I think that you mean (the one not alight) it is #26 and is  electric.

    All

Does anybody wish to have a go at identifying all 25? The winner is to receive national acclaim and longlasting glory (no cash alternative). If it comes to tiebreaker then it is a matter of the lamp in the kitchen in the rear of the shot.

Or I could just tell you if anyone is bothered.

I think the kids climbing frame needs a coat of paint ;)

Well Ian, I can see only 23 so I'm hampered already

However, from the top and left to right...

    On wall - WL26
    On walkway - X246A, X246 Guardsman, BR49, 21C, some Coleman or other?
    Hanging - Hospital/Survey lamp, Bialaddin 300X, early PL53, EX100, Bialaddin 310
    Bench Left Rear - CH1?, early TL136, Bialaddin T10
Seat Right Rear - Pass, Pass, Pass, early TL106, later TL106
    Below Left Bench - AL8, TL106
    Patio - AL21
    Kitchen - Pass

If I've got less than half right it's because I was blinded by the light ;)

Do you really think I have time to paint the climbing frame when I spend most of the day visiting my kids in hospital sufferring from mysterious, recuuring outbreaks of lockjaw?

    David

Very good, you win. It was pretty difficult because I now remember a couple were indoors at the time! You are pretty close in the circumstances:

    In some sort of order:

Tilley SL61 (pretending to be an WL26)
    Tilley X246A
    Tilley X246
    Tilley BR49
    Bialaddin 305
    Coleman 249E
    Tilley SL Hospital lamp
    Bialaddin 300X
    Tilley PL53
    Tilley PL52
    Tilley TL136
    Bialaddin 310
    Tilley FL6
    Bialaddin T10
    Tilley AL8
    Welsbach 3008
    Tilley AL21
    Tilley FL5
    Kildark ?
    Tilley TL14
    Tilley TL116
    Tilley TL106 (second)

    and, out of sight,

    Tilley KL80
    Tilley TL11
    Tilley IL 33

in the kitchen one of my SDR's. I'll bring both versions (not boasting, of course) along next weekend.

Er, wasn't I the only entrant...

I should have remembered you had a Welsbach and that Dr. Kildare thing and put them in my list anyway...

...and of course you weren't boasting about your SDR's. So I'll be bringing my mint Bialaddin T20 and Veritas Nova ;)

Now, gotta get out and BUY A TENT!!

Yes, of course you were the only entrant - do you think you would have won otherwise?

Wrong about the Kildark (please note spelling); I have three now including a bracket lamp.

Now you can keep the Veritas Noburn but I would really like a T20. I've got an old tent somewhere - how about a swap to save you GBP's?

Ah, just too late, Ian - I've now got a new one. Otherwise, of course I'd have swopped my T20 for your old tent...

I think I'll be slightly over-housed this weekend - I spent a good bit more than I'd intended  Might need to lay off the buying side for a few weeks and fettle a few more instead...

I think I will have to take a shot of my lamps and lanterns. We will see how close you go at ID ing my few I have.
I know I have to think about some before I can remember what they are. Especialy the 4 that Neil can't identerfy. They are a problem.
I have a Solex 300 cp coming in the next week. This one will go well with my 100 and 200 Solex's.
